These drawings depict two influences, two known traditions - indigenous and Taoist. They  synthesize a natural tendency for simplicity and form reflected in the natural world. Pastel on paper or canvas - these works represent temporality as the continual cycling of the seasons influences.  Gold represents earth and care for land - our resource.
