These drawings depict two influences, two known traditions - indigenous and Taoist. They  synthesize a natural tendency for simplicity and form  as with the natural world. Oil pastel on paper or canvas - these works represent temporality as the continual cycling of the seasons.  Gold represents earth and care for land - our resource.
